Made with a red-fleshed Ume variety
The red color, resembling strawberry syrup, comes from “Tsuyu Akane,“ a rare Ume variety with red flesh. Blended with extra-ripened large Nanko-Ume, the taste is sweet and tart like Japanese plums. Mixes very well with milk as well.
